Dear Members,
Thank you for another successful Coaches Summit and Winter Players Summit. I would like to publicly recognize the incredible efforts of our members and staff in making these premier events possible.
J.L. Reppert and the Convention Committee continue to lead the world’s finest lacrosse convention. Under Coach Reppert’s leadership, the Coaches Summit has reached new heights with more speakers and diverse teaching methods, including live demos, video presentations, and whiteboard sessions. Featuring keynote speaker Coach Bobby Hurley Sr. and record-breaking attendance, this committee has provided the essential logistics to execute our mission of education.
Chris Miller and the Players Summit Committee have established the Winter Players Summit as the gold standard for recruiting events. From selling out 96 team spots in under a minute to creating elite matchups, they consistently provide an exceptional experience for coaches, athletes, and families.
A special thanks to Mara Gallagher and Maddie Kerrigan. These events are year-round projects, and they would not be possible without their passion and expertise. From registration and meeting organization to social events and hospitality, we owe much to their hard work.
The Board of Directors continues to lead our organization with a focus on our Strategic Plan and Bylaws. The Association is healthier than ever, with record member engagement and brand recognition. We have successfully increased member benefits and improved the membership experience while keeping costs lower than our peer organizations.
As we prepare for our first ever Summer Players Summit in July, we are committed to delivering another top-notch experience. Your support for this new event is paramount, and the Players Summit Committee is working hard to ensure its success.
Beyond our events, the Board and staff are focused on expanding the Mentor Program, adding member benefits like a drill library, and growing our membership across the NCAA, MCLA, NILCA, and NAIA. I also encourage you to visit our new website, developed with Kohan Content, which is now more informative and user-friendly.Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly with any thoughts regarding our Association. Our leadership remains committed to maintaining our status as the premier organization in lacrosse.
