Soldiers To Sidelines Announces Strategic Collaboration with IMLCA to Empower Veterans Through Lacrosse Coaching
Lewes, Delaware — February 11, 2026 — Soldiers To Sidelines (STS), a national nonprofit dedicated to providing renewed purpose and well-being to military members through coaching and leadership development, is proud to announce a new strategic collaboration with the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA).
This collaboration represents a win-win-win for all parties involved—veterans transitioning into coaching careers, IMLCA member coaches, and the young athletes positively impacted by their leadership.
“IMLCA member coaches win through the relationships we will create while leveraging the leadership skills veterans gained through their service to our country,” said J.B. Clarke, Executive Director of the IMLCA. “The veterans win by learning coaching and sport-specific technical skills while forming relationships with other competitive men. Finally, the young athletes influenced by STS coaches will benefit from the combined knowledge of the very best lacrosse coaches in the world and America’s finest.”
Through this strategic collaboration, certified Soldiers To Sidelines Soldier Coaches will gain access to the IMLCA’s premier professional development opportunities, educational resources, and coaching network—providing veterans with high-level mentorship and technical training while strengthening the game of lacrosse nationwide.
“I am excited for our Soldier Coaches to take advantage of our strategic collaboration with the IMLCA,” said Harrison Bernstein, Founder and CEO of Soldiers To Sidelines. “Through this partnership, our certified Soldier Coaches will have the opportunity to participate in the incredible professional development the IMLCA provides to all member coaches. The IMLCA is committed to empowering veterans through renewed purpose on the lacrosse field.”
IMLCA leadership echoed the shared commitment to mentorship, leadership, and service that underpins the collaboration. “On behalf of the IMLCA, I am proud to announce our partnership with Soldiers To Sidelines, an organization doing extraordinary work to support veterans as they transition into coaching and leadership roles,” said Sean Woods, President of the IMLCA. “This collaboration reflects our shared belief in the power of coaching to build community, foster mentorship, and create meaningful opportunities beyond the field. Together, we look forward to strengthening the game while honoring those who have served through impactful engagement.”
This partnership reinforces Soldiers To Sidelines’ mission to provide veterans with renewed purpose through coaching while creating lasting, positive impact on athletes and communities across the country.
